Hi dear all!
Went in Johor yesterday and dropped by at the shop which sells a number of exotic animals!
YES! This is SKUNK!
It doesn't really stink here.. probably cos it didnt fart?
:/
But its poop looks damn diarrhea-like ><
*eeew*
But, I do find them dumbly cute. LOL
The black base kept eating non-stop!
This is....?
Do I call it iguana? Or some kind of four-legged snake? Or lizard?
I can't remember all the names.. You check it out yourself! :D
Omg.. these animals just kept sleeping. When we returned to the shop later in the night, the brown one woke up and the shopkeeper took it out for us to play!
This is what some women (olden days I guess?) coil around their neck.
It is damn damn daaaaammmmmnnnn lazy.
It will walk on its body though it could with its legs.
When it gets excited to play, he'll jump up and down.
LOL.
Very fun and adorable.
Looks like the one character in "Ice Age" movie. HAHA
This is freaking sold at hundreds SGD! $600plusminus?
And the best thing.. IT DOESN'T BITE!
Ideal right!
Snake lovers..
Of course, they have more varieties..
Frogs? lols..
And you'll see plenty of this kind of exotic animals.. in different shades, patterns, designs, etc!
This has a cool back design!
This is sword mouse!
Enjoying spa.. HAHA
This is very good at camou.
My Hubby had to look closer in the tank to see its presence cos its eyes were closed before this was taken.
Looks skeleton..
THIS! Ya, you saw how cute that little mini hedgehog was on Facebook..
And you really wanna get one?
OF COURSE!
But.. their spikey thorns get really prickly if you were to hold them when they are full-grown like these two bread-like mini hedgehogs!
They just sleep through..
It's changing skin in the water..
A better view of it's skin difference!
Change Change Change!
Do you know they have EARS!? o.o!!
Hammies.. And they are freaking sold at RM10 for one.
Gosh, SG pet shops really make a living out of selling pets, cages, pet food, etc at a higher price.
Hammie waterfall~
All rushing to the newly refilled food bowl! Haha.
Once again, side view and peeps on the front of the sword mouse! (剑鼠)
And this is the one I said with cool back design..
We'll be getting this! :DDDDDDD
It feels like hammie.. haha
But jumpy and it's FLYING FOX~!
It's one of the most popular sales in store!
Biggie eyes right?!
YESYES! Chipmunk!
Wondering why we rather get the FF than this?
Cos the shopkeeper said that if we buy FF when it's young, we can train it to adapt to human touch, and it will stick to us.
However, chipmunks tend to 'betray' or get too mischievious.
When it grows older, it would refuse to get back into their cages!
This little chipmunk is quite playful.. trying to catch my Mom-in-law's fingers.. haha
And here is my Hubby, trying to play with the lazy skunk.
And what is an exotic pet shop with no SPIDERS, and SCORPIONS?!
I only took one picture of one of the SPIDERS..
This is called 'Chako' if I remember it right..
:D
This is the so-called "Level 1" spider.
My hubby is interested in getting spider..
But I could only approve of that after our baby is born and not during pregnancy..
>.<
Shopkeeper told him that he has to 'master' level 1 before moving on to another kind of spider.. HAhaa..
This shopkeeper who attended to us is really friendly.
Not to advertise but share my experience there!
He is one of the shopkeepers who would be willing to take the animals out to show you how you could handle or 'play' with them.
He had scars on his hand which he told us were the sacrifices of having such interest in exotic animals.
He dares to handle most of them and would advice which could be fiercer and more hostile to even play it on hand. E.g. the big scorpion at the counter.
He could manage smaller scorpions who do not attack so easily.
COOL RIGHT?!!
And a lil story board.. HAHA
I like you !
Don't go..
Hubby insisting in leaving the store..
NO~~ PLEASEEEE
*pulls even more*
Hubby still persistent in leaving..
*Alright I shall sit and use my body strength to stop you*
Hubby gave up and bent down to play with him.
*yay! Success!*
LOL!
This was a really exciting, though tiring, trip.
A visit at the store is eye-opening!
hee..
For people who are interested in visiting the shop, I don't have the full address..
I only know it's near Bukit Indah :)
