I like this~ Though she frowned xD

Entry 573: Life as a Mother.

Who has ever thought that I would be this young to become a Mother?
I set a goal to be one by the age of 25 and I am four years ahead of my plan.
There are many things that I have to forgo when I decided to take on this responsibility.
It is not as easy as simply bringing a new life into this world. The real thing starts after she arrives!
If I may put my two cents in..below are three points which I made changes to (:

1. I forgo alcohol for the sake of providing breastmilk.

I'm not a hardcore drinker, just occasionally (perhaps once a month at least). I don't take in high amounts of alcoholic contents previously but I strike this out my consumption list during and after pregnancy.

2. I stayed at home more.

I'm NEVER a stay-home person as I have nothing better to do indoor. The house will bore me out. I don't watch dramas every single minute and there isn't that many dramas which will attract me to begin with. I'm neither a shopaholic but I do prefer going out to staying home. Many times, I have to turn down dates cos I can't bring her out with me alone and no one else could take care of her the whole time I'm out. There are certain outings that my hubby and I have to reject too cos it is either too late or inconvenient.

3. I trim my nails and keep them short.

Well, there will be lazy times when I'll just leave them till they reach a certain length (probably half a cm) before I trim them again. This is to avoid injuring or scratching my girl as her skin is delicate. What's more, I'm the one handling her most of the time till current (maternity leave gonna end soon!) so I can't keep long nails. It is really tough to have long nails when I need to bathe her etc.

She loves to put her fingers into her mouth! Eeewww.. all the saliva~~~~

I think I look pretty here.. LOL!!!! :p
